Supriya M

Supriya M has a diverse work experience in the field of research and scientific study. Supriya currently holds a position as a Scientist at BioXcel Therapeutics, Inc. since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Assistant at the National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences in Bangalore from May 2020 to October 2020.

Supriya's previous experience at the same institute includes roles such as Senior Research Fellow from September 2019 to March 2020 and from April 2017 to August 2019. Supriya also worked as a Doctoral Researcher from July 2014 to November 2019, Junior Research Fellow from January 2014 to March 2017, and from May 2013 to December 2013. Supriya started their career as a Project Assistant at the institute in November 2011 and worked there until May 2013.

Supriya M has a strong education background in the field of neuroscience. Supriya completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Neuroscience from the National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences in Bengaluru from 2014 to 2019.

Prior to their PhD, Supriya earned their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Medical Biochemistry from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, KMC Manipal, between 2007 and 2010.

Supriya began their educational journey by obtaining their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Applied Botany from SSMRV Degree College in Bengaluru from 2004 to 2007.
