Yudrum Rivillas

Biological Engineer and master’s in biotechnology from the National University of Colombia, with more than 6 years of experience in the area of cell cultures for diagnosis, with emphasis on the implementation of biological activity tests in in vitro models to determine cytotoxicity and genotoxicity. She is specialized in clinical cytogenetics and an active member of the Latin American Association of Genetics (ALAG). With her experience, Yudrum contributes to the design of new protocols, the evaluation and implementation of new technologies that allow the scaling-up of the production of mesenchymal stromal cells. Additionally, she contributes to the implementation of cytogenetic characterization as quality control.
