Karin L. has a wealth of experience in the field of life science experimentation. Karin began their career in 2001 as a Research Engineer at “INFLAMET” at the Tel Aviv Medical Center. In the same year, they also began their Ph.D. studies in the Department of Human Microbiology, Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. In 2007, they became a Post Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine. In 2011, Karin was appointed as the Managing Director, Western Region, US at the Tel Aviv Medical Center. In 2016, they founded Bioz, the world’s most advanced AI search engine for life science experimentation. For their work at Bioz, Karin was awarded the C-suite/CSO of the Year Award by the Silicon Valley Business Journal in 2017, the Upstart-50 Inventor Award by the SF Business Times and the SVBJ in 2017, and was named one of the Most Influential Women in Silicon Valley by the SVBJ in 2017. Karin also won the Stevie Award for Female Entrepreneur of the Year in 2016. In 2017, Karin joined StartX. as a Startup Judge, Advisor, Speaker, and Panel Member. Karin was also an Official Contributor Member of the Forbes Technology Council in 2018.

Karin L. began their educational journey in 1998, when they earned their B.Sc in Biology from Tel Aviv University. Karin then continued their studies at Tel Aviv University, earning their Ph.D. in Cancer Research in 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine.
