Soraya Estalayo Salmón

Soraya Estalayo Salmón has a diverse work experience in the field of web development and design. Soraya has worked as a Senior UI Developer at Bipi since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at X by Orange as a Senior UI Developer from 2018 to 2021. During this time, they were responsible for the development and maintenance of a modular CSS architecture using SASS and helped create a Stylelint for ensuring its proper use. Soraya also collaborated with the UX and development teams to bring various designs to life and create reusable components.

Before their role at X by Orange, Soraya worked at Liberty Seguros España as a UI Developer from 2017 to 2018. Here, they focused on developing React-based WebComponents and ensuring their adaptability to different resolutions and devices. Soraya utilized preprocessor SASS and CSS architectures like BEM and OOCSS/ITCSS.

From 2016 to 2017, Soraya worked at BBVA as a Web Maquetadora. Soraya'sresponsibilities included maquetation of Web Components developed with Polymer, with a focus on reusability and versatility. Soraya also implemented these components in various apps.

Prior to that, Soraya worked at ING España & Portugal as a UX/UI Designer from 2015 to 2016. Here, they contributed to the redesign of the ING Direct website and its mobile and tablet applications. Soraya paid special attention to user experience and created design flows based on prototypes using a 12-column grid.

Soraya's earlier experiences include working at BABEL Sistemas de Información as a Web Maquetadora from 2013 to 2015, LogiQo as a Web Maquetadora in 2013, Mirai as a Web Maquetadora from 2011 to 2012, and as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Web Maquetadora from 2011 to 2011.

Soraya started their career as a Becaria at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they worked from 2006 to 2010. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating and managing R&D projects.

Throughout their career, Soraya has gained experience in HTML5, CSS3, React, SASS, and various CSS architectures. Soraya has demonstrated their ability to create modular and scalable CSS architectures, adapt designs to multiple devices and resolutions, and contribute to user-centered design processes.

Soraya Estalayo Salmón obtained their Licenciatura en Comunicación Audiovisual from Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2001 to 2006. Soraya'sfield of study during this period was Ciencias de la Información. Later, in 2010 to 2011, they pursued a Máster Profesional de Diseño Gráfico y Animación Web from El Centro de Formación CICE in Madrid, with a specialization in Dirección de Arte. Soraya'sfocus of study during this time was Artes Gráficas.
