Marie Tiffoney is currently the Fundraising Manager at Bipolar Scotland since April 2024. Prior to this role, Marie held positions at Quarriers from August 2017 to March 2024, including Head of Business Development and Grants. Marie also worked at Deloitte UK from September 2013 to June 2017 in Audit for Financial Services. Marie holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Zoology from the University of Glasgow, a CA in Accounting from ICAS, and a Masters of Research (MRes) in Ecology and Environmental Biology from the University of Glasgow.

We are small charity with a mighty impact. Our community is involved in improving the lives of people affected by Bipolar through peer-support, advice and information, self-management training, challenging stigma, promoting participation in the Arts and shaping policy development as part of the Scottish Mental Health partnership. Our Mission statement: To enhance the quality of life of people with Bipolar Disorder by enabling them to deal effectively with the illness so that their condition of life may be improved. Our objectives: • To provide information, advice, support and education to people with bipolar disorder, their friends, relatives, carers and professionals. • To promote, develop, and co-ordinate a network of self-help groups throughout Scotland. • To reduce stigma by improving knowledge and understanding of bipolar disorder. • To encourage research into all aspects of bipolar disorder.
