Brian Benson

Brian Benson is an experienced Analyst and Database Administrator with a career spanning over four decades in various organizations. Currently employed at BIQED Inc. since March 2013, Brian has led the development of a visual recognition application utilizing IBM's Watson technology and implemented automation through Shell scripting for database maintenance tasks. Previous positions include DBA roles at Genuine Parts Company and SunTrust Bank, where successful upgrades and performance improvements were achieved. Brian’s extensive background includes a solid foundation in z/OS environments, having worked as a DBA at multiple financial institutions and IBM, specializing in database design and support. Brian holds an MBA and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
