Chris Carlsen

Chris Carlsen has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Chris is currently working at Birchcliff Energy Ltd. as the President and COO, where they are part of the executive team dedicated to providing clean energy globally. Prior to this role, they served as the VP Engineering, accountable for engineering and marketing efforts at Birchcliff Energy. Before Birchcliff, Chris worked as an Asset Team Lead for Birchcliff's Northern Area, where they led a team of engineers and geologists in driving pool development and exploration. Additionally, they have experience as a Senior Engineer at Greenfield Resources Ltd., where they were responsible for all engineering aspects. Chris also held various engineering positions at Encana and worked as a Field Production Engineer at PanCanadian Energy.

Chris Carlsen attended the University of Saskatchewan from 1996 to 2001. During that time, they pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering and successfully completed their studies, earning a P. Eng certification.
