Dave Cox is a seasoned geoscience professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Geoscience Technologist at Birchcliff Energy Ltd. since September 2021, Dave has previously held key positions including Senior Exploration Technologist at Velvet Energy Ltd. and Senior Geoscience Technologist at Murphy Oil. With a foundational role at EOG Resources and a progression through various companies such as Enerplus and Encana Corporation, Dave has built a robust career since starting in the field at Newport Petroleum. Educational credentials include a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, completed from 1995 to 1998.
