P.eng. Kevin Matiasz

Kevin Matiasz is an experienced completions and drilling professional with over 25 years in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Completions Manager at Birchcliff Energy Ltd. since January 2017, Kevin is responsible for completion design and operational planning for multi-well horizontal pads, focusing on inter-wellbore communication and risk assessment. Previously, as President of Kandor Consulting Inc., Kevin led specialized technical services and hydraulic fracture stimulation design. Kevin's earlier roles at Encana Corporation included Operations Manager for Duvernay Completions and Group Lead for Deep Basin Completions, where significant safety and efficiency improvements were achieved. Kevin began a career at Halliburton, promoting innovative stimulation technologies. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
