John Fay

As Chief Executive Officer, John is leading BirchStreet Systems on its mission to be the leading P2P platform for the Hospitality Industry. Over the past two decades, John has built growth-oriented software businesses and lead talented teams that pride themselves on innovation, execution and customer focus. John’s leadership has centered on leveraging SaaS network-based platforms to deliver to customers “the network effect” of end-to-end process digitalization, analytics, connectivity and user-friendly applications. He enjoys working closely with customers and team members to collaborate on industry leadership and deliver solutions that drive ROI across stakeholders. John believes that culture is critical to successful organizations and strives to build companies that can execute within a culture of inclusion, innovation, transparency, and accountability.

Over his career John has been CEO and a senior executive in global SaaS platforms including: TrueCommerce, a leading supply chain platform for the retail industry; INTTRA, the world’s largest ocean logistics e-commerce platform; Newedge LLC, Instinet and Island ECN, all leading financial technology platforms. John’s formative years in his career were spent at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Goldman Sachs where he was a senior finance executive in the retail and eCommerce divisions. He has his MBA from New York’s Stern School of Business and a CPA license (inactive) from the state of Maryland. John is active in volunteer work focused on education and presently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Gettysburg College and formerly served as President of the Board of Trustees for the Morristown Beard School.
