Birchwood High School
Noah Horwood is an accomplished football coach currently serving as the Goalkeeper Coach for Berkhamsted Football Club Limited since June 2024. Noah has extensive experience in youth development, coaching with Soccer Development Limited and Bishops Stortford CFC since September 2022, focusing on both outfield players and goalkeepers. Previous roles include U18 Assistant Manager and First Team Goalkeeper Coach at Harpenden Town FC and Sports Coach at Kitteridge All Sports, where Noah supported primary school football clubs. In addition, Noah works as a Senior Lettings Assistant at Birchwood High School and has hands-on experience in event management with Bouncyland from August 2020 to July 2023. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sport from UCFB, Noah has a strong foundation in sports education, complemented by a Triple BTEC in Sports Studies from Birchwood High School.

Birchwood is a successful 11-19 mixed converter Academy with 1430 students on roll. We are rightly proud of our ‘comprehensive’ ethos and inclusive philosophy where the academically gifted achieve top grades at A-Level and GCSE, going on in record numbers to Russell Group Universities. Conversely, those students who need more help are encouraged to progress in a caring and supportive learning environment.
