Ryan Wooley

Ryan Wooley serves as the Head of School and previously the Associate Head of School at Birchwood School of Hawken since July 2023. Concurrently, Ryan holds the position of Adjunct Faculty at Kent State University. From May 2008 to June 2024, Ryan was the Chief Technology Officer at Hawken School, leading numerous strategic initiatives, including school redesign, a significant renovation project, and the implementation of innovative educational programs. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Kent State University, focusing on technology outreach and faculty development, as well as a technology coordinator and teacher role at Solon Schools. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Educational Psychology/Instructional Technology, an M.Ed in Instructional Technology, and a MAT in Secondary Language Arts.
