Dennis Bourgin

Head Of SW Engineering Group at BIRD Aerosystems

Dennis Bourgin has extensive work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Dennis began their career at Retalix, where they worked as a Software Engineer, focusing on the development of COM/ActiveX software components and designing hardware activation services. Dennis then moved on to Anysoft as a Senior Software Engineer, developing an SDK for Windows-based automation processes using technologies such as MFC/ATL/STL over COM/DCOM. After that, they joined Pixel as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed games for various mobile platforms.

In 2006, Bourgin joined Sarin Technologies as a Software Team Leader, where they managed a team of programmers and led multi-disciplinary projects focused on the design and development of software for diamond processing and grading machines. Since 2011, they have been working at BIRD Aerosystems, initially as a Software Team Lead and currently as the Head of SW Engineering Group. In this role, they have overseen the development of a complex C4I system, introduced Agile SCRUM methodologies, led collaborations with external UI/UX contractors, and played a key role in the design and development of software suite projects involving integration of various airborne sensors and communication systems.

Dennis Bourgin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Tel Aviv University, graduating in 1997.
