Ilia Koifman

Ilia Koifman is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in engineering and project management, primarily in the defense and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as Products and Projects Manager at BIRD Aerosystems since November 2024, Ilia previously held the position of Projects Manager for the Tactical UAS Division at Aeronautics Group, where responsibilities included overseeing new UAS full-scale development projects and managing multidisciplinary programs. Prior experience includes a role as an Avionics and System Engineering Expert at Polarity Mobility, focusing on eVTOL prototype systems, and a distinguished tenure in various leadership positions within the Israeli Air Force, including Program Manager for KC-46 and C-130J aircraft programs. Ilia holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
