Lea Mackert is a Senior Counsel at Bird & Bird, specializing in IP and IT law within the Commercial, IP, and Dispute Resolution Practice Groups, as well as the Media, Entertainment & Sport, Technology & Communications, and Retail and Consumer Sector Groups. They advise domestic and international clients on both contentious and non-contentious IT, media, and commercial matters, with extensive practical knowledge in software and data licensing as well as consumer law in e-commerce. Previously, Lea held various legal positions at CMS, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and the Auswärtiges Amt in Germany.
