Michael Dawes is a seasoned legal professional with over 25 years of experience in advising on equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity transactions, particularly within the natural resources and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Partner at Bird & Bird since May 2023, Michael has also been a member of the Advisory Panel for Aquis Stock Exchange since May 2022. Prior to his current roles, Michael was a Partner at Memery Crystal from December 2003 to April 2023 and provided strategic advice to Severin Mining from July 2012 to July 2013. Early in Michael's career, positions included Senior Associate at Minter Ellison and Solicitor at Berwin Leighton. Academic credentials include a Law degree from the University of Nottingham and a Legal Practice Course from Nottingham Trent University.
