Roger Bickerstaff

Roger Bickerstaff is an Honorary Professor at the University of Nottingham, specializing in procurement law since August 2019. As a Partner at Bird & Bird LLP with a presence in London and San Francisco since September 2018, Roger has a strong background in IT law and public procurement. Roger has also contributed to the Society for Computers and Law as a Fellow since February 2017, actively engaging in its international and student outreach initiatives. Previously, Roger served as President of IFCLA from June 2014 to June 2016, advocating for Computer Law Associations across Europe, and as Chairman of the Society for Computers & Law from January 2013 to January 2016. Roger's extensive experience at Bird & Bird from May 1995 to March 2015 included leading the international IT law practice. Roger holds an MA and MPhil from King's College, Cambridge, completed between 1980 and 1984.
