Adeel Malik has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Adeel began their career as a Sandwich Artist at Subway in 2014 and later worked as a Door to Door Sales Representative at Weed Man. In 2017 and 2018, they served as a General Labourer at VanMar Constructors Inc. In 2021, they joined Bird Construction as a Junior Project Coordinator for the Brock Residence 8 Project, where they attended job site meetings and assisted with project management tasks. Adeel continued their role as a Junior Project Coordinator in 2021 for The Kip District (Phase 2) project, where they actively participated in meetings and managed project files. In 2022, Adeel returned to The Kip District (Phase 2) project as a Junior Project Coordinator for their third and final co-op placement, where they performed similar responsibilities. In 2023, they assumed the role of a Project Coordinator at Bird Construction. Throughout their career, Adeel gained valuable experience in project coordination, documentation, and team collaboration.
Adeel Malik completed their secondary education at Orchard Park Secondary School from 2012 to 2016. Following this, they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology at Mohawk College from 2019 to 2022. Alongside their formal education, Adeel obtained several additional certifications, including Basics of Supervising from the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA) in May 2022, LEED Green Associate from Green Business Certification, Inc. (GBCI) in June 2021, WHIMIS 2015 from the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety in September 2020, Working at Heights from the Worksite Safety Compliance Centre in September 2020, Associate Member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) in June 2020, and Procore Certified: Student from Procore Technologies in June 2020.
