Elizabeth Chacon

Elizabeth Chacon is the current Assistant Superintendent of Student Services at SEQUOIA UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT. Prior to their current position, Chacon served as the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services at Petaluma City Schools from July 2019 to October 2021. Chacon has also served as an assistant principal at both Archie Williams High School and Redwood High School, both part of the Tamalpais Union High School District.

At each of their previous positions, Chacon has taken on responsibilities such as curriculum and instruction development, advanced placement coordinator, athletics, tutoring, attendance, title IX, school-to-career/ROP, alpha 9, link crew, certificated and classified evaluations, student management, textbooks, department liaison for applied technology, PE, and world languages, district liaison for English, committees for athletics and testing, and facilitating site council.

Chacon's dedication to their work and proven track record in various leadership positions make their an excellent candidate for their current role. As Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, Chacon is responsible for overseeing the district's student services department and coordinating with other departments to ensure that all students have access to the resources they need to be successful.

Dr. Elizabeth Chacon holds a Doctor of Education from the University of California, Davis in Educational Leadership and Administration, General. Elizabeth also has a Master of Arts in Education - Reading and Language from Sonoma State University, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Learning and Development with a Specialization in Spanish from The University of Texas at Austin.
