Denis Malinowski has a diverse work experience. Denis started working at York University in 2011 as an Alumni Relations Coordinator. In 2013, they joined the City of Vancouver as a Program Manager, where they were responsible for organizing and implementing a day camp program for children. Later in the same year, they joined Stantec as a Project Manager, where they acted as the owner's representative, managed stakeholders, and supervised a team. In 2020, Denis joined Bird Construction as a Project Manager.

Denis Malinowski began their education at Point Grey Secondary School in 2004 and completed their studies there in 2009. Following their graduation from high school, they attended York University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science & Geography. After completing their undergraduate studies, Malinowski joined the Stantec Emerging Leaders Program from 2014 to 2015, where they focused on organizational leadership. In terms of certifications, Malinowski obtained the Occupational First Aid - Level 1 certification from WorkSafeBC in June 2014, as well as the Envision Sustainability Professional certification from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure in February 2014. Most recently, in December 2020, Malinowski acquired the Procore Certified: Project Manager (Project Management) certification from Procore Technologies.
