Howard Hickman

Howard Hickman, CRSP, possesses extensive experience in health and safety within the construction and oil industries. Currently serving as the Environment Health Safety Lead at Bird Construction since May 2016, Howard previously held various safety roles including Safety Coordinator and Safety Consultant with Hickmans Consulting from January 2000 to November 2022. Prior experience includes serving as HSE Lead at Aker Solutions Offshore partner, Safety Advisor at Murphy Oil, and Safety Advisor/Foreman at Pillar Projects. Additionally, Howard worked as a Field Safety Advisor at Apache Canada Ltd. Howard holds the designation of Canadian Registered Safety Professional awarded by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals and has obtained qualifications such as National Construction Safety Officer and a degree in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Alberta.
