Ruben Garcia has over 20 years of work experience in the construction industry. Ruben most recently worked at Bird Construction as a Project Manager starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at ROSSCLAIR Contractors Inc. as a Project Manager from March 2022 to December 2022, where they focused on renovations in the City of Toronto and at the University of Toronto. From November 2020 to February 2022, Ruben worked at Baycrest Project & Construction Management as a Project Manager, specializing in office building renovations and projects for the Toronto District School Board. Ruben also has experience as a Project Manager at Arguson Projects Inc., overseeing office interior fit-outs, and as an Assistant Project Manager/Site Supervisor at Cooper Gordon Limited, working on institutional, commercial, residential, and heritage renovations. Prior to that, Ruben worked at Infra Construc (Canada) as a Proposal Project Manager, responsible for managing proposals and overseeing construction projects in Canada and Panama. Ruben also worked as a Project Manager/Superintendent at Garcia Brothers Construction Company, where they managed construction projects for house renovations, industrial buildings, and historical buildings. Additionally, Ruben has experience in drafting technical projects, environmental certifications, and construction specifications as a co-founder of Technical Projects Vicente Garcia Company. Ruben began their career in the construction industry as a General Laborer at Garcia Brothers Construction Company. Throughout their career, Ruben has developed skills in project management, coordination, communication, and budgeting.

Ruben Garcia's education history is as follows:

In 2002, Ruben began their education at the University of Burgos in Spain, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. Ruben completed this program in 2009, specializing in Industrial Electronics.

In 2008, Ruben also attended the University of Trieste in Italy, where they undertook a Bachelor's program in Biomedical Technical Engineering. Ruben gained expertise in Biomedical Electronics before completing this program in 2009.

Ruben further enhanced their skills and knowledge in 2013 by attending George Brown College, where they earned a Certificate in AutoCAD I, AutoCAD II, and Introduction to Marketing.

Ruben also obtained a certificate in Coordinator of Health and Safety in Construction Works from the Official Association of Civil Engineers in Burgos, Spain, in 2009.

Additionally, Ruben attended ITESM in Mexico in 2008, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering.

Prior to their university education, Ruben attended Simon de Colonia College from 2000 to 2002, where they achieved an Advanced Technical Diploma in Regulation and Automatic Control Systems.

Lastly, in 2019, Ruben completed a Postgraduate program titled "Leadership, Coaching, and NLP" from ENEB - Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona.

In 2020, they attended the Project Management Institute, specializing in PMP (Project Management Professional).
