MARCELO BORGES

Marcelo Borges is an experienced telecommunications professional currently serving as a Telco Solution Architect at MessageBird since April 2020. In this role, Marcelo manages telco applications on Google Cloud Platform, focusing on A2P SMS services and implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible in a CI/CD environment. Prior to MessageBird, Marcelo held various positions at Nokia, including Customer Solution Architect, where expertise in Subscriber Data Management solutions was showcased, and as IMS/CS Core Senior NPO Solution Consultant, managing KPI assessments. Marcelo also worked as a Senior CS Core Planner NPO at Vodafone Australia and as a Senior Network Planning Engineer at Oi S.A. Marcelo holds an MBA in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from UERJ, and a Master of Business Administration in Business Intelligence from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, and is currently involved in Toastmasters.
