Jay McDonald has extensive experience in proposal writing and grant writing, currently serving as Pursuits Manager at Bird since August 2019, where previous roles included Senior and Associate Proposal Writer. Prior to this, Jay worked at Inner-City Arts from May 2017 to July 2019 as a Senior Grant Writer and Grant Writer. Additional experience includes a role at the Downtown Women's Center as Community and Corporate Engagement Coordinator, and earlier positions at Historic Royal Palaces as Customer Service Advisor and Science Museum Group as Visitor Experience Assistant. Jay holds a Master's degree in History from Durham University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Queen Mary University of London.
