Oytun Calapover

Oytun Calapover is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations, commercialization, and market strategy across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of EMEA Operations at Bird since May 2022, Oytun manages P&L responsibilities and leads logistics operations across multiple markets with a team of over 40 individuals. Previously, Oytun was the Co-Founder and COO of Eating Europe Food Tours, where efforts resulted in the successful relaunch post-COVID and significant revenue recovery. Oytun's career also includes pivotal roles at Zomato, including Global Head of Classifieds, where growth strategies contributed to the company's transition to a global scale-up. Notable earlier experiences include strategic marketing roles at 3M and Armstrong World Industries, and marketplace strategy at thyssenkrupp. Oytun holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Koç University and an MBA from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas.
