David King

David King has a diverse work experience spanning industries such as technology, hospitality, and pool services. David currently holds the position of Director, Global Talent & Operations at Birdeye since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director, Talent Acquisition at Birdeye from February 2022 to March 2023.

Before joining Birdeye, David worked as a Senior Corporate Recruiter at Spireon from August 2021 to February 2022. David gained significant experience in talent acquisition and management during their tenure at DealerSocket, where they started as a Corporate Recruiter in June 2018 and was later promoted to Manager, Talent Acquisition in April 2019. At DealerSocket, they were responsible for leading and developing recruitment programs, managing a team of recruiters, and driving effective recruitment strategies.

David's early career included roles at Tadpole Pool Services, LLC as a Pool Technician from July 2012 to June 2018, Flextronics as a Sales Consultant from May 2010 to July 2011, and Dynatron Software as a Sales Account Executive, Program Trainer, and Marketing Customer Service Representative from October 2007 to February 2010. At Dynatron Software, they managed customer accounts and delivered impressive sales results in the automotive industry.

David's first professional role was at Comfort Suites / Hampton Inn & Suites, where they started as a front desk associate in August 2006 and quickly rose to the position of Sales Manager within five months. David was responsible for creating marketing materials and driving sales initiatives during their time there.

David King attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 2013 to 2016. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology.
