Matt B. started their work experience at Walgreens in 2013 as a Pharmacy Operations employee. In 2013, they transitioned to Walmart where they held the position of Senior Director, Healthcare Central Operations, Innovation, & Clinical Services for nine years. In 2022, Matt joined MedAvail Technologies Inc./MedAvail Technologies US Inc. as the Executive Vice President/GM of Technology. In 2023, they became the Chief Product & Technology Officer at Birdi, a healthcare company focused on simplifying the management of prescriptions and insurance.

Matt B. has a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of South Carolina. Matt also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cellular Pathology and Laboratory Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Winthrop University. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
