David Beaumont

David Beaumont has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. David started their career as a Network Monitoring Officer at the University of Kent in 2005 and later transitioned to the role of Technical Officer in 2008. In 2012, they moved on to work as a Java Developer at First Clarity before becoming a Senior Developer at Canterbury Christ Church University. In 2015, David joined Holiday Extras as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Staff Software Engineer at Birdie, a digital care companion company.

David Beaumont attended the University of Warwick from 2002 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Physics. Following this, they acquired additional certification as a Red Hat Certified Engineer from Red Hat in November 2009. After a break in formal education, they enrolled in the University of Kent for the 2010-2011 academic year, completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Computer Science.
