Carlos Andrés Ferrero

Carlos Andrés Ferrero is an experienced academic and researcher in the field of computer science and informatics. Currently serving as an Assistant Full-time Professor at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina since February 2014, Carlos also contributes to the research and development sector as a Machine Learning Researcher at Birdie, starting in August 2021. Prior to these roles, Carlos held the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Science at the State University of West Paraná from October 2009 to February 2014. Academic credentials include a Doctoral degree in Computer Science with a focus on Data Mining from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2015-2020), a Master of Science in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from Instituto de Ciências Matemáticas e de Computação (ICMC) - USP (2007-2009), and a Graduate degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (2003-2006).
