Ryan Troll

Ryan Troll has a diverse range of work experience. Ryan is currently a Co-founder of Birdwatch, a concierge home maintenance team. In 2021, they also became an investor at Republic. In 2020, they were the Director of Web Personalization at Capital One, where they formed a new product group focused on personalizing the visitor experience. Ryan also served as the General Manager at Quality Homes, overseeing the business while securing a buyer for the company. In 2019, they were a Founding Partner at BlackLab Venture Studio, providing product strategy and design support for the lab's first investments. Ryan was an Advisor at 1776 from 2017 to 2019. In 2017, they co-created the LinkedInLocal community, which brought LinkedIn connections offline. Prior to that, they had a significant role at AARP as a Group Product Manager, leading cross-functional teams and delivering digital capabilities. Ryan also served as the President of the DC Triathlon Club, where they set the overall vision and strategic direction of the organization.

Ryan Troll attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2015, they attended General Assembly and obtained a certificate in Product Management. Additionally, in May 2015, Ryan obtained a certification in Product Management from General Assembly and in May 2019, they obtained a certification in Disrupting Yourself from LinkedIn.
