Rishi Shukla is a digital learning consultant at Birkbeck, University of London, beginning in September 2024, and has held multiple significant roles in education and software development since 2004. Prior experience includes serving as a senior examiner and associate examiner at Pearson, overseeing the awarding process for A Level Music Technology qualifications, and working as a research and development software engineer at KEF, contributing to the design of acclaimed hi-fi speakers. Rishi has also conducted doctoral research at Queen Mary University of London, focusing on 3D sound applications in music technology, and collaborated with the BBC on projects related to audio environment design. Additional roles include coordinating digital learning initiatives at ABRSM, teaching music technology at The Sixth Form College Farnborough, and managing music technology curricula at The Windsor Boys School. Rishi's educational background consists of a PhD in Media and Arts Technology, an MSc in Music Information Technology, a PGCE in Post-compulsory Education and Training, and a BA (Hons) in History.
