Henning Dräger

Henning Dräger currently serves as the Global Head of ESG at BIRKENSTOCK, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Dräger was the Chief Sustainability Officer and ESG Partner at BDO Ukraine LLC from 2012 to May 2023, where responsibilities included developing sustainability services strategies, managing ESG materiality analysis, and leading a team of sustainability experts across various industries. Previously, Dräger held senior positions at BDO, the Value Reporting Foundation, DS Smith, Friends of the Earth, WWF, and Goldman Sachs, gaining extensive experience in sustainability management, corporate engagement, and environmental risk assessment. Dräger holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Washington and an MSc in Industrial Ecology from the University of Strathclyde.
