Mehdi Nico Bouyakhf

Mehdi Nico Bouyakhf is an experienced executive currently serving as President EMEA and President Europe at BIRKENSTOCK since May 2021. Prior to this role, Mehdi held significant positions at Nike from September 2016 to May 2021 as General Manager Sportswear Central EMEA, and at Converse as Director Brand & Marketing from February 2014 to September 2016. Additional experience includes serving as Head of Marketing, Brand & Creative at Zalando and Head of Global Brand Marketing at Esprit. Mehdi's career at Nike commenced in June 2000, where various brand management roles culminated in the position of Brand Director Sportswear for Central Europe, Middle East, and Africa before departing in July 2012. Mehdi holds a Diploma in Economics & Intercultural Management from the University of Kassel, a Diploma in International Marketing from Bournemouth University, and an exchange degree in Economics from Université Côte d'Azur. Mehdi also participated in Nike's bespoke Global Leadership Development Programme, Nike Xcelerate, in 2018.
