Before NephroPlus, Sukesh worked at Medlife.com as the Business Unit Head and General Manager for Diagnostics, and Zonal Business Head & DGM for Business Development and Strategic Alliances for Diagnostics & Pharma. Sukesh Chandra also gained experience at Eurofins Advinus as a Senior Manager for International Business Development and at BioGenex as a Manager for Strategy & International Business Development. Sukesh Chandra'searlier career started at Sentiss Pharma Pvt. Ltd. as the Manager for International Business Development, Marketing & Sales, and as a Management Trainee in the same field. Sukesh began their professional journey at Tata Consultancy Services where they worked as an Assistant System Engineer and R&D Researcher in Bioinformatics.

Sukesh Chandra Gain completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata in the year 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Hyderabad. In 2010, they attended the Faculty of Management Studies - University of Delhi, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on General Management, specifically Marketing, Finance, and Operations. In 2020, they participated in a program on Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
