Aananda Sinha

Aananda Sinha has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Currently, Aananda is the CIO & Global Head of IT at Birlasoft. Prior to this, Aananda held positions such as Member at CIO Association (CIO Klub), Charter Member at TiE Bangalore, Member at CIOs of India, Member at Computer Society of India, and Executive Member at CyberEdBoard Community. Aananda also served as Advisor & Mentor - IT & Marketing at MSME Business Forum India and Past President - Lions Club of Bangalore Electronic City at Lions Clubs International. A key role in Aananda's career was as the CIO & Director - IT India at OCS Group UK, where they led the country IT strategy, business process change agenda, and cybersecurity. Before that, Aananda was the Senior Vice President & Head of Technology at BARC India, where they oversaw technology, IT systems, and information security for the world's largest TV audience panel system. Aananda has demonstrated expertise in managing teams, implementing IT strategies, and driving business change.

Aananda Sinha completed an MBA in Information Technology from Shobhit University in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a BCA degree in Computer Applications from Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal in 2002. In 2020, Aananda Sinha pursued a Certificate in Finance for Tech leaders from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Certificate in Digital Transformation from the Indian School of Business. Aananda also completed an AI & ML Immersion Lab program from ICT Academy, IIT Kanpur in 2021. Additionally, Aananda Sinha has obtained various certifications such as Cybersecurity Strategist Certification from the Data Security Council of India in 2020 and Cybersecurity Essentials from Cisco in 2021. Aananda has also earned multiple certifications in various fields from LinkedIn and the Coursera platform. In 2022, Aananda Sinha is expected to complete an Advanced Certificate Programme In Digital Innovation and Transformation for Enterprises from the All India Management Association (AIMA).
