Ganesan Karuppanaicker

Ganesan Karuppanaicker has worked in various technology and digital transformation roles throughout their career. Ganesan is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Birlasoft since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President - Digital Transformation at Birlasoft from October 2022 to April 2023, and Vice President - Digital Transformation from March 2019 to September 2022.

Before joining Birlasoft, Ganesan worked at KPIT where they held several leadership positions. Ganesan served as Vice President - Digital Transformation from October 2018 to February 2019, Associate Vice President, Practice & Delivery Head, Digital Transformation from April 2016 to September 2018, Associate Vice President, Technology & Testing Services from April 2013 to March 2016, Senior Program Manager from June 2008 to March 2013, Delivery Manager from June 2005 to May 2008, Senior Analyst & Technology Manager from March 2002 to May 2005, Technology Head - Microsoft Technologies from May 2001 to February 2002, and Technical Project Manager from May 2000 to April 2001.

Prior to their tenure at KPIT, Ganesan worked at Precot Meridian Ltd as a Systems Officer from October 1995 to April 2000, and at Sona Group of Companies as a Programmer & Solution Designer from October 1991 to September 1995.

Ganesan Karuppanaicker has a diverse education history, with qualifications in various fields of study. Ganesan is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers India (FIE) from The Institution of Engineers (India), specializing in Computer Engineering. Ganesan is also a Chartered Engineer with a degree in Computer Engineering from the Institute of Engineers, India. Additionally, they hold a Graduate degree in Computer Engineering from the same institute. Ganesan Karuppanaicker has further education in Computer Applications, with a Post Diploma from Thiagarajar Polytechnic College. Ganesan also has a Diploma in Textile Technology from the same college.
