Rishi Verma

Rishi Verma has extensive work experience in the field of IT and data analytics. Rishi is currently serving as the Global Practice Director for AI at Birlasoft since August 2023. Before this role, they held the position of Practice Director (AI) at the same company from November 2019 to August 2023. Prior to Birlasoft, Rishi worked at India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation Pvt. Ltd (IMGC) as an Associate Director (DW/BI) from April 2016 to November 2019. Here, they were primarily involved in IT-enabled business transformation, process improvements, and data analytics-driven IT strategies. Rishi also led the implementation of various data management initiatives and developed data marts and reporting dashboards using Tableau.

Before joining IMGC, Rishi worked at UnitedHealth Group as a Data Analytics Consultant from February 2014 to April 2016. During their tenure, they led the offshore data integration team for implementing the Healthcare Providers Master Data Management solution. Rishi worked on various technologies and played roles in data modeling, data profiling, data integration, data warehousing, data quality, and data reporting. Rishi also worked as a Project Lead at UnitedHealth Group from August 2008 to January 2014, where they successfully delivered and implemented data integration and data warehousing projects.

Prior to UnitedHealth Group, Rishi worked at Infosys Technologies Ltd as a Programmer Analyst from October 2003 to August 2008. Rishi worked in the financial domain managing data warehousing projects for Fidelity Institutional Services, Brokerage System, and American Express. Rishi used tools and technologies such as Informatica PowerCenter 6.

Rishi also has previous work experience as an Onshore TechLead (Infosys) at Fidelity Investments and as a Software Engineer at Netedge Computing Solutions Pvt. Ltd. During their time at Netedge, they worked on B2C platform development and developed an Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) and call-back alert system for Western Railways.

Rishi Verma completed an Executive Program in Business Analytics at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 2016-2017. Rishi attended the UnitedHealth Group Information Services for the Manager ALPHA program in 2015. Rishi obtained an MBA in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from The Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences. Rishi also holds additional certifications in AHM 250 from the American Health Information Management Association, Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI), and IBM Infosphere Certified Solution Developer (DataStage v9.1) from IBM.
