Chris Weller

Chris Weller currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at Birmingham Bank, starting in April 2023. Previously, Chris held the position of Commercial Director for the UK and Europe at TOQIO, where the focus was on enabling businesses to launch embedded finance solutions. Additional roles include Principal Consultant at Growthful Limited, Interim Chief Executive Officer at Avon Mutual, and Chief Commercial Officer at Allica Bank, among others. Chris's extensive experience in the financial services sector is complemented by foundational roles in various organizations, including Tarmac and GE Capital, where strategic sales and operational strategies were developed and implemented. Chris holds an LLB in Law from the University of the West of England and completed the Oxford Fintech Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
