Rod Findlay

Rod Findlay is an accomplished legal and governance professional with extensive experience in sports and non-profit organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Legal & Governance (General Counsel) at Birmingham City FC, Findlay is instrumental in guiding the club through a transformative period under new ownership. As a Trustee for Harrogate International Festivals, Findlay contributes to the cultural landscape of North Yorkshire. Previous roles include Director of Governance & Corporate Affairs at the Commonwealth Games Federation, where significant governance improvements were achieved, and various leadership positions at British Cycling, including Chief Operating Officer and Business Services Director. Findlay's academic credentials include a law degree from the University of East Anglia and a Post Graduate Certificate in Sports Law from King's College London, complemented by ongoing Executive MBA studies at Newcastle University Business School.
