Birmingham Council of Faiths
Yann Lovelock is an Advisor at Birmingham Council of Faiths. Prior to this, they were Interfaith Co-ordinator at Network of Buddhist Organisations from January 2004 to December 2011. In this role, they were responsible for liaison with Government and other public organisations. Yann was also an Executive member of the Inter Faith Network UK, and a member of both the Religion & Belief Consultation Group and the Faith Advisory Group to the Charities Commission.
From January 1984 to December 1995, Lovelock was Co-ordinator at ANGULIMALA: Buddhist Prison Chaplains Organisation. In this role, they provided support and advice to prisoners and prison staff on issues related to Buddhism.
Lovelock has also worked as a freelance teacher and lecturer on Buddhism and related subjects at various locations since 1964.
Yann Lovelock's educational career includes a BA Hons in English from the University of Oxford, and research at The University of Sheffield.
