Eduardo Seoane, MBA, CPSM has extensive work experience in procurement and purchasing roles. Eduardo is currently serving as the VP Purchasing at Birmingham Airport Authority since August 2021. Prior to this, Eduardo worked as the Strategic Sourcing Manager - Indirect at Austal USA from November 2017 to August 2021. Eduardo also worked at International Shipholding Corporation as the Director of Procurement from March 2005 to October 2017, where they managed a team of six buyers supporting 19 vessels and was responsible for purchasing over $62MM annually. Before that, Eduardo served as the Commodity Purchasing Manager at SCP Pool Corporation from November 2003 to March 2005, where they oversaw the procurement of various commodities amounting to over $24MM.

Eduardo Seoane pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Xavier University - Williams College of Business, specializing in General Business, from 1995 to 1997.

Birmingham Airport Authority

The Birmingham Airport Authority was established in 1986 by the Birmingham City Council to manage the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport and continue its growth. The Birmingham Airport Authority is governed by a seven member Board of Directors, appointed by the Mayor of City of Birmingham and confirmed by the Birmingham City Council.
