Dr. Rer. Nat. Zeljko Cancarevic

Dr. rer. nat. Zeljko Cancarevic, MBA, serves as the Director of Business Excellence, Innovation and Data Analytics at Bischof + Klein since April 2019, where responsibilities include supporting product and service initiatives and implementing innovation strategies. Previous positions include Head of Innovation at Georgsmarienhütte Holding GmbH, where management of the innovation pipeline and development of a data analytics program were key roles, and Head of Simulation and Innovation at Georgsmarienhütte GmbH. Zeljko has extensive experience in project management, digital transformation, and operational excellence, with a strong academic background featuring multiple MBA degrees and a Ph.D. in Solid-State Chemistry/Physics from the University of Stuttgart. Additional qualifications include certifications in OPEX Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma.
