Matthew Shoemake

Matthew Shoemake has over 20 years of work experience. Matthew began their career in 1998 as Manager of Baseband Systems at Alantro Communications, Inc. In 2000, they became Director of Advanced Technology Development at Texas Instruments and Chairman of IEEE 802.11n. Matthew then founded WiQuest Communications, Inc. in 2003 and served as CEO until 2008. In 2016, they became President of Peritum LLC.

Matthew Shoemake completed their B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Texas A&M University from 1989 to 1994. Matthew then pursued their M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University from 1994 to 1996. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University from 1996 to 1999.
