Melanie Jess

Melanie Jess has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Melanie most recently worked as an Ecommerce Manager at Biscuiteers starting in September 2020. Prior to that, they served as an E-commerce Trading Manager at Simon Harrison Ltd from September 2019 to August 2020.

Melanie has also held roles at House of Fraser, starting as an Online Assistant Category Manager for Fashion Accessories in March 2017 and transitioning to the role of Online Junior Category Manager from February 2019 to August 2019. Before House of Fraser, they worked as an Online Category Executive from August 2014 to November 2016.

Melanie gained valuable experience as a Procurement Administrator/Sales at Winnie Magee Design from May 2012 to December 2014. Melanie also had the opportunity to participate in marketing and sales activities during a work experience at VeldhovenGroup in Amsterdam in July and August 2013.

Additionally, Melanie has prior work experience in customer service and sales as a Sales Associate at Comber Post Office from March 2010 to August 2011.

Melanie's early career experience includes internships at the BBC, where they served as a Graphic Design Assistant in January 2010, and as a Broadcast Journalist Assistant, during which they shadowed different journalists and assisted in field exercises and editing tasks.

Melanie Jess completed their high school education at Bloomfield Collegiate School. Melanie then went on to pursue a Foundation degree in Design and Applied Arts at Ulster University from 2010 to 2011. Following that, they attended the University for the Creative Arts, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from 2011 to 2014.
