Justin Kalan

Justin Kalan has worked in the software engineering field since 2018. In 2018, they were a Research and Development Intern at Sandia National Laboratories, where they worked on upgrading the software for a GUI based, close to metal, data acquisition system known as MIDAS. In 2019, they were a Technology Coordinator at Young Catholic Professionals, where they handled all things technology related, including searching for a new CRM, managing A-V needs at the national conference, creating a SQL database, creating visual dashboards, and evaluating new tech tools. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Word On Fire Catholic Ministries, where they work on WordPress development, LEMP administration, and other integration and automation projects mostly in Node.js and PHP.

Justin Kalan attended The University of Dallas from 2015 to 2019, where they earned both a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology/Theological Studies.
