Jennifer O. is a seasoned communication professional and military officer with extensive experience in public relations, strategic communications, and civic engagement. Currently serving as a Commissioner Member on the Bismarck Forestry Advisory Board and a Park Board Commissioner for the Bismarck Parks and Recreation District since 2023, Jennifer also holds the position of Communications Officer at the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction since 2020. With a background in the North Dakota National Guard as an Officer and various leadership roles, including Liaison Officer, Jennifer combines military discipline with expertise in public affairs, honed through previous positions at KLJ and the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services. Jennifer holds a Master's degree in Business and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Mary, complemented by several military certifications in public affairs and branch qualifications in Air Defense Artillery and Military Police.
