Ben Johnson has served as the Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Schools at Bismarck Public Schools since June 2014. Previously, Ben Johnson held the position of Principal at Boone High School from June 2012 to June 2014, and before that, Ben Johnson was the Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Professional Development at Fort Dodge Community School District from June 2007 to June 2012. Ben Johnson began professional educational roles at Cedar Rapids Community School District in August 2002. Academic qualifications include a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Superintendency and Educational System Administration, a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, a Master of Arts in Educational Policy and Leadership Studies, and a Bachelor of Special Studies in Secondary Education, Psychology, and History, earned from Iowa State University, the University of Iowa, and Cornell College respectively.
