Vanessa Bales

Vanessa Bales is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching and youth discipleship. Currently serving as Youth Discipleship Coordinator at Bismarck Community Church since July 2024, Vanessa has also been a teacher with Bismarck Public Schools since August 2021. Previous roles include teaching 3rd and 6th grades with Mandan Public School District, instructing at Sylvan Learning, and serving as a 2nd Grade Teacher and Middle School Volleyball Coach at Grafton Public Schools. Additionally, Vanessa has experience as a Summer Migrant School Teacher for the State of North Dakota and as a substitute teacher in various school districts. Vanessa holds a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Minnesota State University Moorhead, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Valley City State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from North Dakota State University. Educational qualifications were complemented by a diploma from Mandan High School.
