Luis Bastos Alemán has held several positions in the business intelligence and consulting industries throughout their career. In 2021, they are currently working as a BI Consultant at Bismart, Business Intelligence Specialist Services and a Junior BI Consultant at IZERTIS. Previously, in 2020, they were a BI Consultant at DESIC | Consultora Tecnológica. In 2018, they were a Sales Planning Hyundai Canarias at Domingo Alonso Group and in 2017, they were an SCM Enablement & Reporting Intern at Kinross Gold Corporation.

Luis Bastos Alemán has completed a Full Stack Big Data & Machine Learning program at KeepCoding in 2020, a Máster en Ingeniería Industrial at Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from 2015 to 2017, and a Grado en Ingeniería en Organización Industrial at Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from 2011 to 2015. Luis is also certified with a Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate from Microsoft, which was obtained in September 2022.
