Mijalis Méndiz

Mijalis Méndiz has held a variety of positions in the business intelligence and geospatial fields. In 2022, they began working as a Power BI Consultant for Bismart, Business Intelligence Specialist Services. Prior to that, they were a BI Developer at atSistemas from 2021-2022, a Business Analyst at Management Intelligence Consulting from 2019-2021, and a Digitalizador GIS at Centro de Observación y Teledetección Espacial S.A.U. - COTESA from 2018-2019. In 2018, they also held an Intern role at Indra, where they were responsible for photo interpretation of satellite images to determine the classification of land uses in geospatial databases. This role was linked to the Copernicus program led by the European Commission (EC) in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA).

Mijalis Méndiz has an extensive education history. From 2007 to 2015, they obtained a Geophysical Engineer degree from Universidad Simón Bolívar, specializing in Ingeniería Geofísica. In 2017, they earned a Master degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Geographic Information Technology.
